So my mum just got off the phone with my brother, and it seems that she forgot to call him (whether that is my fault is yet to be discovered, but I think it was me.) so he rang up like 5 minutes ago and they were talking about he was coming home. So, whilst on the phone, my brother mentions that his girlfriend was coming too. Her name is Marissa (pronounces mar-eece-a ... weird I know.) and she is a vegitarian, as we figured out the last time we have her over for dinner....
The last time she was here we were having Chinese Take away (It tastes so good.) but when we order from the Chinese place (it's called the 'Happy Inn' its uber cute...with the exception of the really weird looking statue that we always seem to be really cloes to) we order a tonne of dishes with meat in them, and she was coming over for dinner this particular night. Thanks to whatever phone company my dad is with, DIDN'T send the message from my brother that said 'Marissa is coming for dinner, order some vego dishes' so we ordered all these dishes that had vegies in them but they had all touched some form of meat. She was left to only eat prawn cutlets. And up until tonight has barely talked to us, so whether that's a funtion of she was busy or she really doesn't like us (Or we're just TOO crazy...which wouldn't be to hard to believe considering some of the stuff that happens when we're all together...Trivial Pursuit anyone?)
The other funny (well for me it was more 'what the?!') thing was this email that my dad sent me. He called mum this morning at like 10:30 just to tell her that he has sent me an email with a joke in it...seriously how sad is that?! And to top it all off, it wasn't even a joke. Well it was for my dad who has a rather preverted sense of humor sometimes. It was an article that ran something to the effect of :
"A MAN in California allegedly arranged to sell his 14-year-old daughter for $US16,000 ($24,200), 100 crates of beer and several cases of meat.
Authorities in the rural farming community of Greenfield, 225km southeast of San Francisco, said the 36-year-old Hispanic man sold the child to an 18-year-old man who was to marry the girl.
The case came to light after the parent complained to police that his daughter's prospective husband had failed to pay him under the terms of their deal, which was brokered by a third party.
The man has been arrested on human trafficking charges while the 18-year-old has been booked for statutory rape. The child has been returned to the family.
Greenfield Police Department said there had been several cases where children had been sold or offered for sale, including one incident involving a 12-year-old.
"While each case is unique, the issues of arranged marriages involving minor females or the selling of minor females to older males have become a local problem," it said."

What kind of preverted father sends that to their 15 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER?! My family...and at this point I don't totally blame Marissa for avoiding us for being crazy, if I were here I would do the exact same thing. Good Move Marissa! /hi5!
In other news (pardon the pun) I'm off to Hong Kong tomorrow for a week, and it is infact tomorrow (Thursday) not Tuesday or Wednesday. Thursday! So I might be able to blog on the trip if not, I shall return ready to update you (with pictures) on the very busy and awesome week.
May God bless you this week, and keep you all safe and ready to...do...stuff (Yeah, that worked out better in my head.) Love to you all!
Peace and Love
