Yeah, I have. Today infact. It's kinda weird, its like tropical flavoured cordial that is so weak it could be very vomitt inducing at one point for some people. I'm not sure if I like it yet. It tastes kinda funky. But its not bad.
Today was a fun day...kinda, depends on the way that you look at it. I go up rather early...earlier than I would like. An I went with my family -minus my mother- and Julia to go and see my grandmother. We took her to lunch in Manly, and oh brother it was cold. The waves were pretty cool though. However, if you tried to go surfing, you would have gotten seriously snapped. The beach was actually so it's not as if someone would have come to save you. Well the lifeguards probably would have but you would have been in serious trouble. Lunch was good, very filling. Charlotte had this dish called 'Ribs and Ribs'. It was two kinds of ribs (nah duh!) but it was TWO half racks. All the people at our table couldn't finish it, there was lots of food. My lunch was a classic burger, that was perfection of a plate. It was so good, and perfectly sized.
Then we threw my sister out (however she did asked to be dropped off and we didn't litterally throw her out.) at some church, I wasn't paying attention to where it was, mostly because I was asleep on the way home. But I do remember that from Manly dad managed to take ONE wrong turn and end up in Epping. It was rather funny. Then I came home and went to the football, which was rather boring, especially considering that I don't like football or the rain but all in all it was a pretty good day.
NOW on to past things...
CARNIVALE!!
It was on Friday night and considering the fact that it rained all night it was pretty good. Except at the end of the evening, when Julia and I left. ONE they had locked the back gate, which I use to get out of the school. At this point in the evening I was drenched and getting wetter by the second and so we had to walk round the long way to the station. I got so many weird looks for the fact that I was so wet. I must have looked rather strange too!
TWO, Julia had been given a flower and some other goodies from friends and she gave them to Mr Baker to mind...she forgot about them and when we were leaving, she nicked off to go and try and get it. The door was locked and I couldnt find her. That was the second time that night. The first time was right after school, when apparently she racked off to Burwood and FORGOT to tell me, so I was franticly trying to find her for like 30 minutes and then she was like 'Oh I went to Burwood for a little while.' Then I told her off and I think that she hates me because I took her away from her German friends and loverboy Mike at like 6:00. He certainly wasn't happy. But I don't care, its the price she's paying for racking off with out telling me.
EXAMS!!
The other part of the weeks that I have been meaning to blog about. Exams were gay! Let me get that part out first. I must say of the entire school experience I think that exams are the most pointless things ever. It's not so much school that is pointless, its the actual exams that they give you that are pointless. I am all for going to school, but all against testing kids. This week we started getting them back, they haven't been too bad. Commerce has been the worst, but I think that will be over taken by Geography. It's not as if I even care about those two subjects anyway. I'm not doing them next year, so what ths heck is the point of doing them?! Science was pretty good, especially the Skills section. IT was pretty good, I forgot what I got though so...whoopsie. CST was a bludge, I got 34 I think which wasn't too bad considering I did the test in 10 minutes.
I will continue this blog when I'm not so dead and falling asleep at my computer. Love to you all.
I will leave you with a favourite bible verse of mine, that I used in Year 10 Chapel (All details of that to be revealed in the next blog)
"How precious your thoughts to me, O God!If I were to count them, they would out number the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you." (Psalm 139:18)
God Bless
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10)
